Freelance Interior Designer (Project-Based | Own Visa Required)

Engagement: Freelance / Project-Based (Up to 6 Months)
Visa: Candidates must hold their own valid UAE residency visa.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead the design and execution of a complete office refurbishment project.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented, and hands-on professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming the client’s office space, managing every stage of the refurbishment to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and design.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative interior design concepts aligned with the client’s vision and functional requirements.

Prepare mood boards, layouts, space planning, material selections, and design presentations.

Produce or oversee design drawings and specifications.

Manage the project from conceptualisation through execution and final handover.

Coordinate and liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other service providers throughout the project.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.

Resolve on-site design and execution challenges as they arise.

Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and aesthetics.

Requirements

Proven experience managing commercial interior design or office fit-out/refurbishment projects.

Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working closely with contractors, suppliers, and consultants.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g. AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).

Must be based in the UAE with a valid residency visa and available to work on a freelance/project basis.

This is a project-based engagement with an expected duration of up to six months, offering the opportunity to oversee an office transformation from concept to successful completion.
